KettleBells Tips and Tricks for Newbies

by admin on July 1, 2010

Now I am starting to really get into the workouts with the kettlebellls. I have read some good recommendations about how to use them for the newbies. A two handed grip for stability is a very good idea. That will make sure the kettlebells are secure in your hands. Also taking a proper stance when doing your exercises is important for balance and distribution.

I learned some new information about doing circuits also. Doing as few as five to ten repetitions of moves , like the snatch can really increase your endurance the next time around. Also with as little a 30  minutes per workout you can definitely gain benefit.

My plan is to do the 30 minute workout circuit style every other day and the rest of the days work a targeted area in to my usual workout.

By visiting other peoples sites I have found that the kettlebells also have a great effect on fat loss. Because they cause so many muscle groups to work when you use them. They are the opposite of isolation exercises. [click to continue…]

Kettlebell Exercises – The Best Workout For Cardio & Weight Loss!

These days people are looking for a better way to lose weight and get their heart rates up. You have to admit it, over time a few of us have gained a little more weight than we would have liked to. It’s easy to do it, but it’s always hard to get the weight off. We have such conveniences these days, between fast food and unhealthy food that takes 3 minutes in the microwave. Hardly anyone eats correctly! If you have decided that you would like to change your lifestyle and help your health, you may have started to look at various ways to help yourself and your body loses weight.

One of the things you need to do is incorporate some kind of a cardio exercise into your routine. This will allow your heart beat to raise and in turn will work not only your heart muscles, but it will activate endorphins in your body as well. “They” say that endorphins and exercising are co-existent. They also say that exercising can make you healthier, but happier as well. Once you start looking at exercising, cardio and endorphins, you will realize that the people saying this are not lying! One thing you might want to look at in terms of equipment is not a $10,000 machine from Nordic Track or Bowflex.

Instead, it is a little tiny weight that costs about $30 called kettlebell weights. It’s a weird name I know! But, once you see these kettlebell weights you will begin to understand why. First off, they are somewhat shaped like a kettle. They have a broad “bell” shape at the bottom and a handle shape at the top. Secondly, these are traditional a greenish-black color, just like the old kettles that were available. Lastly, traditionally they were made from the same material of a kettle. While you may have never heard of kettlebell weights I can guarantee you that they will help increase your health and your exercise routine.

For the most part when you do kettlebell workouts or kettlebell exercises you don’t even realize the benefits you are bringing to the table. Its actually quite easy and a little fun to do. But, the point here is that you are doing cardio because you are increasing the heart rate in order to bring the kettle weight back to your body. Because of its weight and its size it makes your stomach and body move in ways that you might not have moved in quite a long time – you know who you are you couch potato! These kettlebell exercises are a fabulous way, and a simple way to incorporate exercise into your everyday life.

People of all ages, sexes and professions use these kettlebell weights. But, it must be said that they are the ideal choice for sportsman and athletes and after using them you will see why. They allow you to get the motion and exercise in the least amount of time, and you will actually SEE and FEEL results with these kettlebell workouts! Oh by the way, these kettlebells, though you might not have ever heard of them before, can be found right online. In fact, if you take a look at a few familiar websites to you, you will instantly find a place to buy kettlebells or find kettlebells for sale. One of the places I would suggest is Google.

Also, when looking for Kettlebells for sale or once you start looking for a place to buy kettlebells, you might start to see different brands and colors than the original. This is okay! There are all kinds of companies out there that sell exercise equipment that have made the kettlebell their own. You don’t have to buy the original size and or color of the kettlebell. Now you can choose from an array of customizations as you see fit.
